Look over to the right near the bottom.

My first real post is over to the right near the bottom. I think it is called "I don't know what I am doing." No doubt this sentiment is supported by this post here.

I don't know what I am doing.

Welcome to my blog. I don't know what I am doing and perhaps am even mildly convinced that some part of my being is dying as we speak, due to the time I am spending trying to make sense of this blog stuff. "User friendly" I think is what my friends told me. I have realized how obsessed we can become with the way something looks. I must have changed the color of my name eight times. I must have searched over a dozen images to lay in the background. I ended up with grass. I have no idea why. Probably 'cuz it's green. I like things to be simple too. I think it is simple. So what to say. I don't know. I do know it is a beautiful day. The sun is shining. I have been through things in life that should have killed me and yet here I am. Well fed and cared for. I am highly favoured by the Lord Jesus Christ. He has planted me in a Valley right close to a salmon stream, a river and a lake. I am an hour from the ocean. I can have a fire in the backyard. I am an uncle, a son, a brother,a grandson, an artist, a teacher, and a student. I have lots goin' for me and live a life where I am surrounded by brothers who love me and care for me. God loves me and I am free today because of his grace and mercy. I haven't really met any of you yet, but we will meet at some point. Know that God loves you, yes you, the one reading this. God loves you and desires you to slow down, be still, and close your eyes. Do this and allow yourself to hear him.
